Ellie is a favorite around the farm for her good looks, calm disposition and willingness to take on any job. According to head trainer Matt Williams, Ellie has the right combination of experience, energy, athleticism and a head for cows and hard work. As an own-daughter of Spots Hot and a Playgun mare, Ellie has a bloodline of gold and talent to match. Breeding her to world champion sire Bet Hesa Cat was an easy decision.
Bet Hesa Cat is the only stallion that crosses the #1 leading cutting sire, High Brow Cat, two-time NCHA Finals Champion and NCHA Hall of Fame member Bet Yer Blue Boons, dam of earners of $1,280,000. He is the only world champion whose dam is also a world champion.
