Carpenter Farms adds producing daughter of Mr. Eye Opener
LAKELAND, LA, August 2022 – Say Six Eyes “Rocket” [si 99, Mr. Eye Opener-Say Six Moons by Martha’s Six Moons] joined Carpenter Farms’ growing string of quality mares last week. She will be in the farm’s Louisiana race program and board at Cannon Farms in Lakeland.
Rocket had 13 starts as a two-year-old and three-year-old with three firsts, one second and one third, with earnings of $15,619. She ran well early but battled injury later in her career. Over the years she has been bred for race and performance prospects. She has a history of sending winners to the track.
“We really like Rocket as a go-to mare in our breeding program,” said Todd Carpenter, CEO of Carpenter Farms. “Mr. Eye Opener mares are highly consistent, and Rocket and her colts have shown that on the track. We look forward to crossing her with a top stallion in Louisiana in 2023.”
